Teachers Becky Obray and Angela Melzer are excited to team up and develop something that aids in coming together as a family, and as a community. Numerous people have expressed a desire to attend a retreat, but they often feel torn between personal meaning making and a family vacation. We aim to create an experience that combines both, eliminating the need to choose. With a curriculum of mindfulness meditation, nervous system regulation tools, yoga practice and Ayurvedic principles, this retreat has all the components for learning and still will offer plenty of time for exploring, relaxing and playing.
This retreat offers our families opportunities for meaningful experiences, learning tools, and engaging in adventures, challenges, and fun activities. At Rios Lodge Family Retreat, we will do all of that and eat organic, crafted meals that fit everyone's diet preferences and cravings.
